Every year on February 4th, the world unites to recognise World Cancer Day — a global movement dedicated to raising awareness, improving education, and inspiring action against one of the most significant health challenges of our time.
At Aker Advantage, community is at the heart of everything we do. The people and businesses of Queensland have supported our growth from day one, and this month, we’re proud to give back in a meaningful way.
Supporting Cancer Council Queensland
Throughout the entire month of February, 1% of all Aker Advantage revenue will be donated directly to Cancer Council Queensland to support:
Vital cancer research
Prevention programs across the state
Support services for patients and families
Education initiatives that help drive early detection
Cancer touches so many families — including those within our own customer community — and we’re committed to contributing to the ongoing efforts that improve outcomes and support Queenslanders affected by cancer.
Why This Matters
Cancer Council Queensland plays a critical role in improving survival rates, funding cutting‑edge research, and providing compassionate, practical support to those navigating a cancer diagnosis. Every contribution helps:
Fund groundbreaking local research
Provide counselling and community support
Offer accommodation for regional families during treatment
Drive statewide cancer awareness and prevention campaigns
Together, these efforts create real, long‑term impact for Queenslanders.
How You’re Helping — Simply by Ordering
Every order placed with Aker Advantage in February automatically contributes to this initiative. There’s nothing extra to do — just continue supporting a local Brisbane-based supplier, and we’ll ensure 1% goes straight to Cancer Council Queensland.
United for a Cause
World Cancer Day is a reminder that small actions, when multiplied, create meaningful change. We’re proud to stand with our community and help fund work that saves lives, supports families, and brings hope.
